Training a Springer Spaniel to stop pulling on the lead

When I first contacted Colin my 10 month old Springer spaniel was not a joy to be with when away from home. He pulled on the lead and would not come back to me when I called him. It was a battle of wills which I was losing.

It was difficult to choose which aspect of training I needed help with but we started off with ‘walking on the lead’.

Henry, my pup, seemed to enjoy his lessons and quickly learnt how to behave on his lead, using a clicker really helped.

But a more amazing thing happened; he began to come back to me whenever I called him. In other words, Colin’s training taught me, as well as, or even more than my dog. I have learnt how to make Henry want to learn. Living with Henry is now a joy and I thoroughly recommend Colin’s training.
