Colin’s insight and knowledge with dog behaviour is superb. His positive reinforcement approach with training has helped me with Alfie’s recall and loose lead walking.

I first came to Colin to improve Alfie’s recall when Alfie was about 11 months old. We chatted about home life and how this can help to improve the training. With colin’s advice we made some adjustments at home, making sure we were living with him in the right way, to build up Aflie’s respect for us. We worked on getting Alfie to respond to his name better, then using the long line until working our way to being off lead.

It’s great now to see Alfie run and play and interact with other dogs, knowing that he will come when called.

We then moved onto loose lead walking. Breaking the training down into stages was brilliant and Alfie picked it up quickly. We soon progressed and our final session was walking around Bath City centre.

Colin has not only helped to train Alfie but has also trained me to help Alfie. I could talk to Colin all day to listen and absorb his insights and knowledge.
